The town’s new indoor curling rink at Alexandra’s IceInLine complex was open to the public yesterday, and attracted people of all ages keen to give the sport a go.
Among them was Sam Strong, who put her skills to the test watched by her friends (back from left) Henry Suttor, Dan Hammond and Emma Hutchison, all of Wanaka.
The facility, which has been a work in progress for several years, will be used for curling only.
