The Great Naseby Water race too hot for one

Michael Hoogeveen discarded his shirt in the warmth of the Naseby Forest as he tested a lap of The Great Naseby Water race yesterday alongside Mgcini Masuku (left) and Cheryl Schneider (centre).

The trio are among 170 competitors who have travelled from far and wide for the event, which is into its 12th year. Masuku was competing in yesterday's 200km race, Schneider was running in the 160km event and Hoogeveen was training for today's races.
