That answer to the question ''what did you do at the weekend'' should improve the street cred of dozens of young and not-so-young dirt bike riders who converged on a motocross track near Alexandra at the weekend.
They have the photos and autographed clothing to prove they spent part of the weekend ''just hanging'' with Crusty Demons Seth Enslow and James ''Bubba'' Chiasson.
The American freestyle motocross duo's visit to Alexandra was organised by motorcycle clothing and graphics company Moto Mayhem's South Island manager Regan Healey, of Alexandra, and former Crusty Demon Luke Smith, of Auckland.
Up to 50 riders each day, aged from 6 through to motorbike enthusiasts in their 40s, took part in the ''ride days'' with Enslow and Chiasson on Saturday and yesterday.
''It's a real once-in-a-lifetime thing,'' Smith said.
''How many people can say they've ridden with a Crusty Demon? Usually the only time you see them, you're at their shows and separated by a metal fence and security, but here you can walk up to them and say 'hey' and even pit up next to them if you want, and just talk to them like normal people.''
It was their first time visiting Central Otago and the stunt masters shared a few yarns as well as tips.
''We just ride for fun these days. And dirt biking is a family sport so it's good to see these young ones coming through and learning the sport and keeping safe and getting outdoors,'' Chiasson said.
He is married to an Adelaide woman and divides his time between Australia and the United States, while Enslow is based in California. Enslow agreed it was good to see a high number of young people attending the training days.
''It keeps them active and positive and keeps them away from the video games.''
Alexandra 10-year-olds Ethan Melvin and Jordan Lacey said meeting the Crusty Demons was ''way cool''.
Saturday's event was cut short by heavy rain but the moisture made the track ''perfect'' for yesterday's activities, Chiasson said.
They were impressed with the course over farmland near Alexandra and enjoyed meeting fans and exploring the new terrain.
Enslow planned a return visit in winter to go snowboarding at Queenstown.
