A cyclist has sustained moderate injuries after being hit by a car in Cromwell on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 7pm on State Highway 8B near the intersection with Alpha St.
An eyewitness said several road users pulled over to assist at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the "man in his 60s'' was taken to Dunstan Hospital with moderate injuries.
