The market was at the Patearoa Hall and for more than 25 years has sold goods given by the Maniototo community.
Market convener Fiona Parker said she had attended the market every year and had been in charge of organising it for two years.
The turnout this year had been great and there were too many people to count, she said.
"It’s always a happy event."
The tables were lined with books, cookware, toys and arts and crafts supplies.
Over the 25 years the type of things given to the sale had changed, Mrs Parker said.
Visitors browsed, looking for something that caught their attention.
Alongside the market, a cafe was also open for visitors to enjoy as they browsed the tables.
A Ford Model T also offered rides to visitors for a gold coin.
All proceeds from the sale would be put back into projects in the Patearoa community, Mrs Parker said.
The market was named after Bob McSkimming, who owned the first store in the Patearoa area in the late 1800s.
The name Crockery Bob was given to Mr McSkimming by gold miners in the area, who would say you could hear him before you saw him because of the rattling of his cart.
The market would always be named after Crockery Bob, she said.
