Cards and stamps to mark Post Office milestone

Arrowtown Museum Post manager Marilyn Gourlay shows some of the 3000 personalised postage stamps, commemorative cards and bags ordered for the Arrowtown Post Office's 100th birthday celebrations.

The post office ordered 2000 $2 stamps featuring the post office and 1000 80c stamps depicting the post box, to mark the milestone.

The stamps will be released on April 14, coinciding with birthday celebrations which will include speeches, unveiling a plaque, release of balloons and children's activities throughout the day.
