Blueskin Youth Community Association and Waitati Volunteer Fire Brigade representative Paul Clements attended the Waikouaiti Coast Community Board public forum to speak to an association funding request for $1200 towards a $3149 project to install a hand rail on a steep section of the estuary track. The board later granted the request.
Mr Clements also gave an update on the work of the Waitati Volunteer Fire Brigade, and invited board members to visit. He also suggested get-togethers for local community organisations.
