Work is carried out on the Forsyth Barr Stadium roof in Dunedin yesterday to ensure it remains watertight.

"We are replacing the cap gaskets [seals] and expansion patches on two sections of the roof as these are end-of-life and starting to deteriorate," Dunedin Venues commercial manager Rachael Jenkins said.

"This is not unexpected work and is part of the asset management plan of the roof."
