Dunedin resident Sarah Al Tooq, 8, takes part in a game of "silent ball" at a sports school holiday programme organised by Kelly Sports at George St Normal School yesterday.

The programme was one of two, with the other one being held at Kaikorai Valley College.

Kelly Sports operations manager Izzy Gold said the day went ahead despite the weather to help parents who still needed to work yesterday — especially those who may have been working for the flood effort or doing shifts at the hospital.
