Wellington has named a strong side to take on Otago at Forsyth Barr Stadium tomorrow night.

The side from the capital will have the benefit of having had a full week off while Otago is coming off a game against Manawatu in Palmerston North last Tuesday and has spent the past couple of days resting some tired bodies.

Wellington sits at the top of the ITM Cup Premiership ladder and has lost just two games this season.

It has 10 Super 15 players in its starting line-up tomorrow night and has plenty of depth on the bench.

Highlanders first five-eighth Lima Sopoaga is back at Forsyth Barr Stadium as he continues his return to the field after missing nearly six months because of a shoulder injury.

He will have another Highlander outside him, with Shaun Treeby named at second five-eighth. Charlie Ngatai will continue his role at fullback.

Up front, young prop Reggie Goodes comes back into the team after getting over an injury to his eye socket. He teams up with another exciting prospect in the front row in prop Jeffery Toomaga-Allen.

Dane Coles is back at hooker after missing last Saturday's game against North Harbour.

Mark Reddish and Ross Filipo swap positions from last week with Filipo moving to the blindside flank.

Exciting youngster Ardie Savea will be on the openside flank.

Wellington may be top of the table and is assured of making the top four but it will want to keep winning to help secure a home semifinal at least.

Its final game of the season, before the playoffs, is against Taranaki in Wellington on October 14.

Otago will name its team today. It has had the past couple of days off and will have a short training run at the stadium today.

Otago sits second on the ITM Cup championship ladder and is all but assured of making the semifinals.

Its final game of the season, before any possible playoff games, is against Auckland next Thursday night at the stadium.
