Perth assumed he would and they were right to think that way with news Tom Abercrombie will play in the first game of the ANBL finals at Vector Arena tonight.
The Breakers forward injured his ankle late in Saturday night's win over Townsville and hasn't been able to train all week. But he emerged for the team's warmup tonight and looks certain to play some role in the match.
He doesn't look totally comfortable on the ankle and it's doubtful he will be at his explosive best but, with eight days before game two in Perth and such high stakes, Abercrombie has decided to play.
