Despite a gutsy second-half, the Breakers were beaten 123-112 by the Perth Wildcats last night.
Perth’s Bryce Cotton contributed 59 points, breaking the NBL’s individual record in the modern 40-minute era.
The Breakers fought strongly in the second half but were unable to erase a 21-point halftime deficit. They also suffered injuries in the second quarter, losing Tacko Fall and Dane Pineau.
Co-captain Parker Jackson-Cartwright laid out another outstanding performance with a hard-earned double-double including a season-high 34 points and 10 assists, along with three steals.
