Maintenance work continues on the west wing of the Lindo Ferguson Building, which is part of the Otago Medical School.

The scaffolding was installed by Bramwell Scaffolding Ltd late last year, and a temporary roof was added about two weeks ago.

It is understood the scaffolding and temporary roof will support continuing maintenance work, including on the roof.

Completed in 1927, the Oamaru stone and brick structure was named after Sir Lindo Ferguson, former dean of the Otago Medical School (1914-37).
