St John is taking signed Black Caps memorabilia on a road trip around Otago and Southland, before it is auctioned online on Friday.
The two signed shirts and a signed bat were on display at the St John office in Frankton last week as one of the final stops in a nine-centre roadshow.
St John southern region fundraising co-ordinator Pam Warren said the organisation was the Black Caps' charity of choice in 2009 and received the memorabilia to "do with it what you will".
"Our choice was to engage with the community and have a bit of fun with it."
The money will go towards helping St John continue providing its services.
"We have to raise between $12 million and $14 million nationwide so, if we count this area as being 10% of the nation's population, that's $1.4 million in Otago and Southland," she said.
The memorabilia includes a signed New Zealand shirt from the 1992 Cricket World Cup, a signed bat from the 2008 Black Caps v England test series and a signed 2009 Black Caps shirt.
