Five Otago Polytechnic fashion graduates have sealed their place in a show which helped launch the careers of Charmaine Reveley, Roxanna Zamani, and Sara Aspinall of Company of Strangers.

Liz Ung, Rachel Webb, Sara Dooley, Amelia Boland and Elise Barnes have been selected to show at iD Dunedin Fashion Week next year.

Miss Ung said being in the show was "a great stepping stone" in her career.

"It has given me more confidence that my work is great and that people do enjoy it," she said.

Fashion School academic leader Margo Barton said it was an honour for graduate designers to be selected to show at Dunedin Fashion Week, which would open doors to help launch their careers.

"The collections will stand out on the runway and the public will be able to experience first-hand the calibre of fashion talent coming out of the Otago Polytechnic School of Design," she said.

iD Dunedin Fashion Week runs from April 5-10.
