Police are examining a Feilding house as they search for Wanganui woman Marice McGregor.
Ms McGregor, 45, was last seen as she drove her red Suzuki Escudo on State Highway 4, about 40km north of Wanganui, on April 19.
Her car was later found parked near the Lismore Forest, 20km north of Wanganui, but she was not reported missing until seven days later.
Her wallet was in the car and her bank account had not been touched.
Police yesterday seized a green Mitsubishi 4WD van seen in the area.
Police spokeswoman Kim Perks said the vehicle had been examined and the owner was cooperating with investigators.
She would not say whether anything had been found in the van.
"The vehicle that were are in possession of is linked to an address in Feilding and therefore that address is also of interest," she said.
The people living at the house had been spoken to and were now staying elsewhere.
Ms Perks said there had been no arrests and no one was in custody.
Police were keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicle on State Highway 4 on April 19, she said.
"We're certainly getting lots of new information in from the public, we're getting a lot of public support, and obviously that gets sifted through and we'll go back and speak to people in more detail."
Earlier today Senior Sergeant Gwynne Pennell said police were anxious to find out if Ms McGregor had been in the vehicle.
"That is the information that will help us find Marice," she said. "We are not looking for a body. We are still looking for Marice."
