Its been a hard season for the Southern United women's National League side, bedding in new young players has been a learning process all round.
However, steady improvement reached a fine climax in the final match when from 3-0 down, the women battled back to 3-3 against Auckland and pushed forward for the winner.
They went close, but the Auks snuck in for a late winner.
But morale finished on a high - and the team is already looking forward to next season.
