Two Horowhenua men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery on Foxton early this month.
Police said the robbery took place on July 1, when two disguised men, one with a firearm, kicked in the back door of a house in Foxton. The two occupants were attacked and robbed.
Both victims received moderate injuries, mostly bruising and abrasions, in the attack.
Police said two local farm workers, aged 20 and 31, had been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, injuring with intent to injure and threatening to kill.
They had appeared in Levin District Court and remanded to a future date.
