Teachers are resuming their industrial action after rejecting the latest offer from the Government.
The Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) suspended last week's planned industrial action to discuss a new offer from the ministry.
PPTA president Kate Gainsford said that after three days of negotiations there had been no substantial shift between the latest offer and the Government's initial offer in June.
She said the latest offer, which gave teachers a smaller increase in salary than the previous offer, was unanimously rejected by the PPTA national executive.
Ministry of Education education workforce group manager Fiona McTavish said the ministry was "extremely disappointed".
"There is absolutely no justification for PPTA to walk away from bargaining a second time," she said.
