A fire in a dance studio in Paraparaumu, on the Kapiti Coast, is being treated as suspicious.
Fire communications shift manager Belinda Beets said the fire, which started at 12.25am this morning, was out and fire fighters were dampening down hot spots.
The fire was being treated as suspicious, she said.
The fire was in a one storey building on Hurley Road, which was used for a dance studio.
There were no reports of anyone being in the building, said Ms Beets.
Fire safety were investigating.
