A 17-year-old Auckland schoolboy accused of stabbing his teacher in the back has been remanded in custody pending a bail application.
Avondale College student Tae Won Chung faces a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after allegedly attacking 49-year-old teacher David Warren.
Chung, an international student from Korea, was supported by friends and family when he appeared in Auckland District Court today.
Chung was remanded in custody until April 1.
