A woman who allegedly snatched a baby from Christchurch's St George's Hospital was further remanded when she reappeared in Christchurch District Court today.
Defence counsel Elizabeth Bulger said the 20-year-old woman, who has name suppression, had been released from Hillmorton Psychiatric Hospital following a series of tests but no suitable bail address had been found.
Judge Noel Walsh remanded her in custody for a depositions hearing on March 12.
Miss Bulger said bail could be sought later if an address was arranged.
The woman is charged with taking a two-day old boy with intent to deprive his mother of his possession.
