BP, Shell and Gull have dropped the price of petrol by three cents a litre this morning.
The decrease comes on the back of a stronger NZ dollar and weakening international refined fuel prices.
BP said that although the dollar had dropped against the greenback since Friday the price of refined fuel had fallen allowing the company to pass on the decrease.
Its outlets were now selling 91 unleaded for $203.9c per litre and 95 unleaded for $211.9c.
