More charges laid against bzp conspiracy accused

More charges have been laid arising from an alleged incident yesterday, against a woman charged over the police's Operation Shadow drugs investigation which led to raids in mid-December.

The woman, Natasha Anne Patricia Moutter, an unemployed 23-year-old from the Christchurch suburb of Wigram, was due to appear in the Christchurch District Court on remand on charges of conspiring to supply the banned party-pill BZP, supplying the class A drug LSD, and two charges of selling BZP.

The long running police investigation led to a eight arrests after raids on December 14.

Moutter also faced charges of assault and wilful damage from yesterday, when she was further remanded on bail to January 19 on all charges.

Natalie Jan Sully, 25, unemployed, was granted a registrar's remand for her appearance today on charges of selling BZP and conspiring to sell the drug. She is next due to appear on January 18.

Others have made remand appearances in Christchurch during the holiday period.
