A 42-year-old Waikato man arrested for allegedly sexually attacking Asian sex workers has appeared in the Hamilton District Court.
Detective Senior Sergeant Karl Thornton said the man faced charges of sexual violation, threatening to kill and two counts of aggravated robbery allegedly carried out in July.
"Because the matter is currently before the courts we are unable to detail what has occurred," he said.
"We believe there may be more victims out there nervous about coming forward.
"I would just like to reassure anyone in such a situation that police take all complaints of sexual assault seriously and we anticipate further charges will be laid."
