Forty-four of the charges relate to burglaries allegedly committed by Stewart in the Selwyn and mid-South Canterbury area, where he was on the run for 106 days before being caught on May 27.
He was initially arrested on a warrant for a breach of his parole conditions issued on October 3.
Police also allege he stole nine vehicles including one motorcycle. Eight of the vehicles were recovered.
Other charges relate to alleged driving, firearms and drug offences.
Police are still compiling total reparation being sought but it is estimated to be between $300,000 and $400,000.
