During the month-long murder trial in the High Court at Wellington earlier this month the jury was told of three other charges Macdonald had already pleaded guilty to.
He has admitted burning down a home on Mr Guy's property and vandalising another home Mr Guy and his wife Kylee were having built.
He also admitted poaching two deer, worth tens of thousands of dollars, from a neighbouring farm while on hunting "missions" with an accomplice, Callum Boe, 21, a former farmhand on the Guy farm.
Since his acquittal it has also been revealed that Macdonald is also facing other serious charges.
Justice Simon France, who presided over the trial, lifted suppression orders following the acquittal which allowed the fact the charges existed to be reported. Details on what they are remain suppressed.
Macdonald will be making his first court appearance at Palmerston North District Court since the not guilty verdict, where a sentencing date will be set.
It is understood Macdonald has been at Manawatu Prison since he was remanded in custody at the conclusion of the trial.
He has spent 15 months at the prison since his arrest on the murder charge in April last year.
It took a jury of seven men and four women 12 and a half hours to come to the not guilty verdict on July 3.
