Three Lotto winners got a Halloween surprise when they won a share of the $1 million first division prize last night.
New Zealand Lotteries chief executive Todd McLeay said there would be only treats and no tricks for the winners in Auckland and Waikanae, who each won $333,333.
"With a win like this, our winners will not be suffering any financial horrors any time soon,'' he said.
The winning tickets were sold at BP 2 Go Blockhouse Bay in Auckland, Whitcoulls Botany Downs in Manukau, and Take Note in Waikanae.
A Dunedin player won $346,132 on a Strike ticket sold at Foodland Four Square, while a Martinborough man won $200,000 on the winning wheel last night.
