Three people facing murder counts after two Tauranga men went missing last year - although neither body has been found - have had a depositions hearing set down for April 6 next year.
Mark Haimona Puata, 50, of Te Puke, is accused of killing both William Taikato and Darrell James Crawford.
Two Welcome Bay men, John Aitken, 33, and David Peter James Anderson, 41, are both charged with Mr Crawford's murder.
In Tauranga District Court today, Judge Christopher Harding further remanded all three in custody for what is expected to be a four-day pre-trial hearing.
Their arrests early in September followed months of police inquiries into the separate disappearances of Mr Crawford, 36, in August 2007 and Mr Taikato, 40, just before Christmas last year.
Neither man has accessed bank accounts or contacted family members since they were last seen.
In each case, a $50,000 reward is on offer for information.
