A St John spokesman said the woman, aged in her 50s, was taken by ambulance to Dunedin Hospital emergency department about 1pm.
Senior Sergeant James Ure, of Dunedin, said Mosgiel police arrived at the scene about 12.50pm to find a vehicle upside down and a woman being tended to by the fire brigade.
