The pedestrian critically injured when she was hit by a vehicle in Dunedin has died.
A police spokeswoman said the 78-year-old woman died in Dunedin Hospital on Sunday.
The Dunedin woman was hit in Great King St, near St Andrew St, about 9.30am on Saturday.
No-one has been charged and the police investigation was ongoing, she said.
Due to incorrect information given to the ODT previous reports said she died today.
