Dunedin police are searching for three Dunedin men who have failed to appear in court.
Warrants to arrest had been issued for the men, who had failed to appear in the Dunedin District Court, Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said.
Matthew Roger Fleming (20) was subject to five such warrants in respect of breaching community work and driving while disqualified. Fleming was European, of medium build and 177cm tall.
Raukawa Whenu Knight (35) was the subject of a warrant to arrest in relation to wilful damage, Snr Sgt Benn said. Knight was Maori, of medium build and 178cm tall.
Thomas Clay Wiparata (30) was wanted for failing to answer bail and failing to appear in court. He was Maori, of thin build and 166cm tall.
Snr Sgt Benn said the men had evaded police for weeks but were believed to still be in the Dunedin area.
