Emergency services attended a two-car crash in The Glen which blocked South Rd this afternoon and left two people with moderate injuries.
A police spokeswoman said they were called at 2.52pm to the collision between two cars and diversions were in place in South Rd at the Glen in Dunedin.
St John spokeswoman Chrissy Hamilton said two people sustained moderate injuries and have been transported to Dunedin hospital.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand acting shift manager Ian Littlejohn said crews from Willowbank and Dunedin Central responded after multiple calls.
They assisted ambulance officers in removing a patient from each vehicle after what was believed to be a ''light impact'' crash, he said.
