One person has serious injuries and another minor injuries after a two-car collision in Halfway Bush this morning.
A police spokeswoman said one person was seriously injured in the crash on Dalziel Rd.
Another person was initially trapped after the crash.
Police were blocking off both ends of the road, and two ambulances were called to the scene.
A St John spokeswoman said another patient had minor injuries. Both patients were being transported to Dunedin Hospital by ambulance.
St John was called to the crash 9.08am.
Visibility was poor in the area due to fog.
