"I’m thrilled," Mrs Doigsaid about the presence ofabout 100 people at the hui.

This turnout showed the hui was succeeding in the aim of building closer links between the community and Dunedin City Council leaders and staff, she said.

Dunedin Mayor Aaron Hawkins and council chief executive Sandy Graham spoke, and an update on progress with community projects was given.

Mrs Doig said community attendance was well up onthe first hui, three years ago, and the council was keeping the community informed.
