Truck got stuck

Reilly's Towage and Salvage works to pull a truck and trailer up Townleys Rd, in Kenmure, after the truck became stranded due to a lack of traction on the slippery road surface.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to a report of a truck jack-knifed in the road about 10.20am yesterday.

The driver was uninjured, but he was stuck in the middle of the road.

The Dunedin City Council was advised and they sent out a contractor, the spokeswoman said.
