The future of Tomahawk Toddlers Playgroup continues to hang in the balance after it was told by a security guard to leave the Tomahawk School grounds following a protest earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the group held a protest at the school to vent its frustration at the school for withdrawing its facilities as a venue for the group.
President Anna Hughes said it was a good protest and put its message across peacefully.
"It was a bunch of families blowing bubbles and having a barbecue."
However, a couple of hours after the protest started, the security guard approached them and told them to leave the property by noon, she said.
"It's not a nice thing.
"It is so frustrating."
The group had accepted the school's offer to use the dental clinic but only so it could store its equipment, as the venue was not large enough to accommodate the whole group in comfort.
"It's a small, cold, sterile place and our gear takes up a lot of the space."
The group was now waiting to hear from the school's board of trustees.
Board chairwoman Audrey Harbrow said she had received advice that the board should not comment at this time.
