Teddy nearly ready

Kelly Moodie (2), of Clarendon, has Bobby, her teddy bear, checked by second-year medical student Priya Patel at Dunedin’s Teddy Bear Hospital on Saturday.

The Teddy Bear Hospital was part of a global project set up by the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations and was run in Dunedin by University of Otago medical and dentistry students at the Hunter Centre, with the aim of creating a positive medical experience for young children.
