About 150 University of Otago students attended the debate, during which presidential candidates Harriet Geoghegan and Nicholas Graves, and finance and services officer candidates James Meager and Daniel Stride, outlined their plans.
Many questions were asked about the OUSA financial position and how that would be affected by the current economic climate and what impact an introduction of voluntary membership would have.
Cohesion among the executive and the limited knowledge students appeared to have about the OUSA were also raised.
Online voting will open at midnight on Monday and close at 4pm on Wednesday.
