Zoe Arnold (5) snaps a photo of the Summer Lights display, in Dunedin yesterday, along with her brother Zach (1) and mother Tamsyn.
She first picked up her mother’s old digital camera when she was 3 years old and had been photographing ever since.
This year, the display’s theme is "Magical Garden" and it features lanterns made for the 2020 Midwinter Carnival, which was cancelled in June due to Covid-19.
Zoe said her favourite lanterns to photograph were the unicorn and the peacock.

When asked why she liked to take so many photos she said: "because I like to remember things".
Christmas lights were up there with her favourite part of the festive season, but her advent calendar came out on top.
The display is open again today, tomorrow and on Sunday between 1pm and 4pm, and 6pm-9pm, at the old Living and Party store in Princes St.
