Contractors waterblast the cenotaph at Queens Gardens in preparation for this year’s Anzac Day service in Dunedin on April 25.
The cenotaph was designed by Auckland architect William Gummer in 1921, and was unveiled in 1927, to commemorate all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
