The house was built in 1880 and was once home to the Hudson family. Now, it is inhabited by three monks and the centre.
Centre member Helen Ingrams said the property was in need of major repair.
"It’s damp and mouldy and it’s going to be a massive project because they need to waterproof the foundations and replace the sewage pipes around the outside of the basement."
She expected it would cost a lot and the sale was an effort to fundraise towards it.
The centre hosts teachings on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and other ceremonies throughout the year.
It is open every day.
