A crane loomed over the structure yesterday morning, removing large trusses from the station’s roof.

Naylor Love construction manager Paul Stevenson said a total of five roof trusses were removed, along with other canvas sections.

Tent sections remained on the exterior of the building, Mr Stevenson said.
