A temporary roof truss is removed from the Dunedin Railway Station yesterday.
A crane loomed over the structure yesterday morning, removing large trusses from the station’s roof.
The roof is the latest feature to be unveiled as the restoration nears closer to completion.
Naylor Love construction manager Paul Stevenson said a total of five roof trusses were removed, along with other canvas sections.
Tent sections remained on the exterior of the building, Mr Stevenson said.
