Forbury School pupils (from left) Ashleigh Ross (11), Kimiora Priestley-Cabral (10) and Hamu Kereopa (10) play on a bouncy castle set up in the school playground to celebrate Healthy Lifestyle Day.
The event was run by Kraft Foods as part of its Deliciously Different week of volunteer activities in which 30,000 staff in 60 countries do something special for the people in their communities.
Staff from Kraft subsidiary Cadbury's chose to volunteer at Forbury School yesterday because staff had volunteered there for the past three years helping children with reading.
"We chose Forbury because we were really sad to hear the school is closing," Cadbury's events co-ordinator Lee-anne Anderson said.
Principal Janice Tofia said the pupils were "blown away" by the interest shown in them.
