The pool has been unavailable since the city went to Alert Level 4 in August.
Dunedin City Council group manager parks and recreation Scott MacLean said leisure swimming would be available from 1pm on November 13, but physical distancing must be maintained because of Covid-19 Alert Level 2 guidelines.
There would be a limit on numbers to allow social distancing.
The leisure pool was used for school swimming lessons on weekdays and would be available for public access only at weekends, he said.
The hydroslides, lazy river, spa pool and diving boards were still closed, but the showers would be open and cleaned frequently.
From Monday, lane swimming and aqua jogging would be available one hour earlier on weekdays.
The number of lane swimmers and aqua joggers was still restricted to 38 lane swimmers, 10 aqua joggers and 18 in the gym to ensure people stayed at a safe distance from each other, Mr MacLean said.
Just Swim lessons continued under limited numbers.
JC Swim School owner Jill Clarke said her school still had space for children, including preschoolers.
It was not great that parents were struggling to get lessons for their children, but there were alternatives available, she said.
