The owner of a central Dunedin home disturbed a group of burglars when she returned to her property on Saturday afternoon.
Initially confused over why a group of people was at her property, the owner went inside to find that four gaming con-soles and about eight games were missing.
Senior Sergeant Liz Waru said that the owner managed to provide a description of one of the alleged offenders as he ''ran off''.
He was described as a male Caucasian, aged 20 to 25, of thin build and with short brown hair.
He was wearing a maroon hoody with grey sleeves.
People who have any information should call Dunedin police on 471-4800 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555-111.
