One serious after car rolls down bank in Dunedin

One person has serious injuries after a vehicle crashed down a bank in Dunedin this morning.

A police spokeswoman said the accident happened in Leckhampton Court near Maryhill Tce about 9.25am.

The person was trapped for a time in the vehicle, which was upside down.

Several fire and ambulance crews were in attendance.

The vehicle was in a "tricky spot" and efforts would be made to retrieve it today.
