One person taken to hospital after crash

Emergency services and members of the public assist at an accident at the intersection of Pitt St and Royal Tce yesterday morning.

A police spokeswoman said two cars collided at the intersection about 9.25am.

Traffic management was in place until about 10am, she said.

A St John spokeswoman said two ambulances attended. One patient was transported to Dunedin Hospital in a moderate condition.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said two crews, from Dunedin City and Willowbank stations, assisted at the crash site.
