New twist on sustainable materials

Communication design lecturer Alexia Moore stands in front of a project about "kombukeke", a unique composite using kombucha leather (bacterial cellulose) and harakeke, that is on display at the Otago Polytechnic School of Design graduate showcase.

It reimagines sustainable materials and invites a dialogue between nature, innovation and functionality.
