Dunedin gave Neil Diamond a warm southern welcome tonight and the veteran rocker did not disappoint.
There was a genuinely happy buzz at Forsyth Barr Stadium as anticipation built before the show.
Even a delayed start didn't dampen the atmosphere, with Mexican waves sweeping around the stands as fans waited for the Grammy Award-winning performer to take the stage.
When Diamond appeared, the opening song Soolaimon was greeted with raucous cheers and set the tone for the night.
